Together, these elements connect science, history, and discovery in ways that spark curiosity and invite deeper exploration for visitors of all ages.

Hundreds of rocks, minerals, crystals, and gems showcasing Earth’s diversity and natural beauty. A hands-on window into geology and deep time.
A cross-section of Bentonville’s 2024 tornado-felled Champion Tree. Its growth rings will be marked over time with local and world history — a living record of resilience.
In July 2017, the NWA Space and Science Center acquired a historic 36-foot refractor telescope built in 1911 by the John Brashear Company for William Cameron Sproul. Originally at Swarthmore College, it now serves as a key attraction for astronomy enthusiasts in Northwest Arkansas.
