Women's Retreat at Little Sugar Farm

〰️

Women's Retreat at Little Sugar Farm 〰️

A small-group women's retreat designed for those who want to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the bigger picture.

Limited to just 12 participants over the age of 21, the retreat combines comfortable glamping accommodations with immersive astronomy experiences, guided telescope viewing, and astronomy discussions led by Dr. Katherine Auld. Participants will explore topics ranging from black holes and modern astrophysics to humanity's place in the universe while enjoying meaningful conversation, time outdoors, and nights beneath the stars.

This retreat also serves as a fundraiser supporting the mission of NWA Space and Science. After retreat expenses are covered, proceeds support future science education, astronomy programming, and community outreach initiatives.

Throughout the weekend, participants will enjoy:

  • Guided telescope viewing on Friday and Saturday evenings (clear skies permitting)

  • Astronomy presentation and discussion led by Dr. Katherine Auld, PhD.

  • Campfire conversations as well as free time to read, journal, craft, or relax

  • Optional nature-based and movement activities and time along the river

  • Opportunities to connect with fellow participants

All meals are included throughout the weekend, beginning with a Friday evening welcome gathering. Enjoy a leisurely catered brunch and delicious dinner on Saturday, followed by breakfast on Sunday morning. Snacks, beverages, coffee, tea, and campfire treats will be available throughout the weekend, so you can relax, recharge, and enjoy every moment.

This is not a packed conference schedule. Space to Breathe is intentionally designed with room for rest, reflection, connection, and nights spent beneath the stars.
