Holt Middle School Star Party
NWA Space and Science Center is excited to support Holt Middle School's space unit by hosting a Star Party for their students. This engaging event will provide opportunities to observe celestial objects through our high-quality telescopes. Students will connect classroom learning to real-world exploration, inspiring curiosity and deepening their understanding of astronomy.
Private Client Star Party
NWA Space and Science Center is excited to provide a start party for the Residents of Legacy Village Garden Homes. This engaging event will provide opportunities to observe celestial objects through our high-quality telescopes. Residents will have time to enjoy the night sky and ask all their questions. The full Moon will be bright in the sky, but we will still be able to view Saturn and its rings.

Holt Middle School star party
NWA Space and Science is excited to announce a star party at Holt Middle School on April 15, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. This engaging event invites students, families, and community members to come together and explore the wonders of the night sky.
Attendees will have the opportunity to observe celestial objects through telescopes, participate in hands-on activities, and learn from knowledgeable science educators and volunteers. Various stations will feature engaging presentations on topics such as constellations, planets, and the science of stargazing.
Lunar Eclipse Watch Party
Join us for an unforgettable Lunar Eclipse watch party at NWACC! Gather with fellow astronomy enthusiasts on the grass in front of White Auditorium to witness this spectacular celestial event. As the Earth’s shadow gradually envelops the Moon, you will have the opportunity to experience the fascinating transition as the Moon moves deeply into the Earth's shadow, resulting in a striking red hue during totality. This event promises to be both educational and awe-inspiring, offering insights into the science behind eclipses. Don’t miss out on this chance to engage with experts and fellow science lovers under the night sky. Bring a chair or blanket as the best way to view an eclipse is to sit, relax and enjoy with your naked eyes.
